What We’re Researching:
In the Infant and Child Studies Lab, we are interested in attention, temperament, and play styles of children from 4 months through 6 years. In our playrooms, children are observed as they enjoy our toys. In longitudinal studies, children return at various ages; we are interested in how infants’ interests predict later play styles.
What We Do:
In the Infant and Child Studies Lab, research assistants collaborate with Dr. Ruddy through article research, idea discussion, and lab session meetings. Students participate directly in the research that Dr. Ruddy is conducting.
